How is Sowena's transport funded under the NDIS?
Our driving support is generally claimed under the NDIS "Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities" line item, part of Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation, which sits within your Core Supports funding. In plain terms, it's the funding that helps you get out and about and do the things that matter to you.

‍Which part of my plan pays for it?
It comes from your Core Supports budget. Core Supports is generally flexible, so the funding can usually be used across a range of everyday supports rather than being locked to one fixed item. We're always happy to confirm how this works for your particular plan.
